Free Compost
All the compost we produce is made from the kitchen and garden waste we receive from the local green bin collections in Cambridgeshire; garden waste delivered directly to the main household recycling centres; and, green waste from surgeons, landscape gardeners and parks.
 We offer free compost to all gardeners and allotment holders who are able to collect it from our site. The free compost pile is clearly indicated when you come through the entrance gate. Please bring our own sacks or trailers and shovel to collect the compost. AmeyCespa’s Cambridge site is open from 8am until 5pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am until 12noon on Saturdays. We will also deliver skip loads of compost to allotment holders and residents with large gardens in Cambridge and the surrounding villages for a fee of £50 to cover transport costs. Skip hire costs extra, but if you are hiring a skip from us anyway, ask for the compost to be delivered in the skip at no extra charge. This service is subject to availability of compost.
