• AmeyCespa wins Center Parcs supplier award for environmental initiative: Press Releases [29.06.2012]Waterbeach based AmeyCespa has won an award which recognises it efforts in improving recycling rates at Center Parcs Elveden Forest in Suffolk.
AmeyCespa won the Environmental Initiative award at this year’s Center Parcs Supplier Awards, and was also shortlisted for the overall Supplier of the Year Award.
AmeyCespa secured the contract to provide waste management services to Center Parcs Elveden Forest in October 2011. The contract includes a number of services which were new to the village including separate weekly collections of recyclable materials from the accommodation and service retail areas.
As part of the contract, AmeyCespa is also tasked with finding and implementing innovative approaches to reducing waste levels and working with the business and its guests to increase recycling rates.
Paul Kirkup, Principal Commercial Manager for AmeyCespa, said: “We are delighted to have won this award as it recognises the successes we have achieved, in partnership with Center Parcs, since we took on the contract in October.
“It’s rewarding to be able to work closely with a business with such a good reputation and to help find solutions which will reduce the amount of waste produced, and increase the amount recycled.
“Center Parcs have over 2,000 suppliers nationally so this is a great achievement for our team.”

Since we started working with AmeyCespa, we have seen a good increase in the amount our guests are recycling thanks to the innovative approach taken by the team.
